Imperfect JOY®

Film / Video Business

Creative media for healthcare-related organizations that move and inspire people to make a difference
Based in Brimfield, MA | Available for travel internationally

Growing up I always wanted to be a doctor. I received a BS in Biology to take the logical steps toward medical school, but as I ventured through my journey of life, love, and loss I found my life’s passion was behind a camera. I discovered that my desire to help people in times of need never stopped – I just help them heal through art instead of traditional medicine. I am a filmmaker and photographer with a passion for helping patients and caregivers share their stories and make a difference.

Rare Patient Films Collection
Fiscally sponsored by Entertainment 2 Affect Change (www.e2ac.org)

Imperfect JOY®’s Rare Patient Films focus on narrative storytelling – I meet patients and families in their home where they are most comfortable being themselves to share their journey from the perspective of both the challenges they face and the joy they experience in moments spent with their family. Relatable, emotional, and inspiring films help rare patient advocates use their stories as a space to have conversations that start with connecting to people, not just a diagnosis.
