10 Things … Storywalk @ The Mount

Date/Time

Location

The Mount (2 Plunkett St., Lenox, MA 01240, Lenox MA)

Each month, from June to December, South Berkshire Kids and The Mount welcome the community to enjoy a Storywalk — read a picture book and meander a path through the woods. Today they will present 10 Things I Can Do to Help My World by Melanie Walsh.

Do you remember to turn off the tap while you brush your teeth? How about using both sides of the paper when writing and drawing? Bold, child-friendly illustrations and die-cut pages will draw even the youngest listeners to this gentle reminder of the easy, everyday ways we can be kinder to the earth.…

Sing along with Mister G on September 11 and journey with Señorita Mariposa.
We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt in October
In November, enjoy a retelling of a lively Mexican folk tale, Borreguita and the Coyote.
Explore Animals in Winter in December.

All of the Storywalk community days are free, juststop at the admission booth before you head in to the walk. The Mount’s paths have some uneven terrain and are not always suitable for strollers or people with accessibility concerns.

The Mount is a Massachusetts Cultural Council UP designated organization welcoming participants of all disabilities. They invite anyone to cal and talk with them about any accommodations you may need to join fully in this event.
