Barrinton Stage presents Ain’t Misbehavin’ — a musical tribute to American jazz pianist, organist, composer, violinist, singer and comedian Thomas Wright “Fats” Waller, conceived by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Murray Horwitz, winner of three Tony awards including best musica. BSC’s performance is choreographed and directed by Jeffrey L. Page.

Ain’t Misbehavin’ will star Allison Blackwell (BSC: Who Could Ask for Anything More? The Songs of George Gershwin, Ragtime; Broadway: The Gershwins’ Porgy & Bess), Jarvis B. Manning Jr. (Broadway: Ain’t Too Proud, Motown The Musical), Anastacia McCleskey (BSC: Broadway Bounty Hunter; Broadway: Hair, The Book of Mormon, Waitress), Maiesha McQueen (Broadway: Waitress) and DeMone Seraphin (Broadway: Miss Saigon, Rent, Ragtime).

They will join in an evening of rowdy humorous songs that capture the love, longing and zest for life in the 1920s and 1930s, a vibrant time in American history and music, with classics like ‘Honeysuckle Rose,’ ‘Your Feet’s Too Big’ and ‘T’aint Nobody’s Business if I Do.’

The play will run June 16 to July 9 at the Boyd-Quinson Stage at 30 Union St., Pittsfield.
