All of Me @ BSC — New play
Barrington Stage Company (30 Union St., Pittsfield, MA 01201)
Boy meets girl. Boy uses wheelchair, girl uses wheelchair. Boy and girl use text-to-speech technology to connect to each other and the world around them. Love is holding them together even when the people in their lives want to pull them apart.
It’s a romantic coming-of-age story that hasn’t been seen before. All of Me is a hilarious and candid portrayal of disability and class in present-day America.
Barrington Stage presents a world premiere play by Laura Winters, winner of the 2021 Burman New Play Award, directed by Ashley Brooke Monroe.
The play will run September 21 to October 9 on the mainstage at 30 Union St., Pittsfield.
