Antler Editions- Flag Book

In this class we will create a flag book with an enclosure band. A flag book is a variation of an accordion fold with extra “pages” sticking out. This is a great artist book to make at home, minimal effort, maximum effect. These books are great for a short poem, a mosaic of a landscape, or a collage of photographs. Students should come with an idea or two for what they want their book to be about so we can dive right into work. Some examples are a favorite quote, 4-5 photographs to cut up, a color wheel, old prints from a past project. Students will be able to easily recreate this book structure at home.

Each student will leave with a one of a kind artist book.

Max class size 8.

Light snacks and refreshments will be provided in this class, because I know how hard it can be to get out on a weeknight. :)
