Jim Crowell, 69, of Hatfield, is a maker. Now retired from professional cabinetry and finish carpentry, Jim Crowell continues to make, creating sculpture, vessels, and bas relief wall pieces that reflect his deep interests in nature and the natural world. The primary material he builds his pieces around is birch bark.

“Jim Crowell: Creations in Birch Bark” is an exhibition of Jim’s newest work. It will be held at the Gallery at the US Fish and Wildlife Service Northeast Regional Office, 300 Westgate Center in Hadley. The show will be open from November 9 until December 15 2023, from 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday.

An opening reception will be held at the Gallery on Thursday, November 9, from 4-6 PM.
