ArtWorks Westfield invites you to ... ARToberFEST 2025, our annual day long, autumn community art and cultural experience in the heart of downtown Westfield featuring local and regional fine artists and artisans, literature and live music + sidewalk chalk art, kid’s art, food trucks and much more, on Saturday September 27, 2025 from 10am to 4pm.

This is an outdoor urban art festival in the very unique, inviting and thriving metropolitan setting of the Downtown Westfield Cultural District.

Stroll along Elm Street and experience a day of fine art, literature, live music, sidewalk chalk creativity and FREE community activities. Meet the Juried Artists and Authors. Listen to local and regional musical groups on the Elm Street Plaza and street performers all along Elm Street. Explore all downtown Westfield has to offer - local shops and boutiques; small scale pop up galleries; fine eateries; coffee shops, cafes and pubs. Be part of the burgeoning art and cultural scene in the new DOWNTOWN WESTFIELD CULTURAL DISTRICT in the heart of downtown Westfield.

This is a FREE art & cultural community experience with roots dating back to a very small art & literature show in old Town Hall in 2017. How we have grown!

ARTISTS ALONG ELM
Art created by local and regional fine artists and artisans will be on display and available for purchase, in an outdoor, art walk format, along the west side of Elm Street ~ the future Downtown Westfield Cultural District ~ from the Westfield Athenaeum heading north along Elm towards Arnold Street and the Westfield Gas & Electric; the Church Street Walkway and the new Elm Street Plaza. Over 75 Juried Fine Artists and Artisans will be on hand to showcase their creativity and talent in mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, collage, photography, printmaking, digital art, jewelry, functional art, wood, glass, metal, fiber, clay and ceramics.

AUTHORS ALONG ELM
Local and regional authors, writers, poets and publishers, alongside gallery artists, will be along Elm Street in downtown Westfield, offering their books for sale and talking about the craft of writing. From history to self-improvement; from paranormal and fantasy to horror; from poetry to dark fantasy; from children’s books to mysteries and memoirs and all points and genres in between, you’ll find something to love and read along Elm Street.

With holiday season quickly approaching, the gift of reading and imaginary exploration makes a perfect holiday surprise!
