The Berkshires Satellite Reef—part of the worldwide Crochet Coral Reef by artists Christine and Margaret Wertheim and the Institute for Figuring—is a communal art project entailing the creation of a life-size coral reef made entirely out of crochet by hundreds of participants.

Opening & Community Reception:

Saturday, April 18, 2-4pm

(including Dance Performance and Puppetry Activation)

Sunday, April 19 – Tuesday, May 12 (Note: Dates Extended!)

Every Day: 10am-4pm

Evenings: Wednesdays-Saturdays, 6pm-8pm

All above listed events are open and fully accessible to the public! All are welcome. There is no fee. The Opening Reception will include original performances by dancers and puppeteers. People are free to visit the Reef anytime during the Days/Times listed above. Parking is available behind the ’62 Center in our parking lot.
