Location

Egremont Barn (17 Main Street, Egremont, MA 01230, Egremont MA)

Billy Keane, well-known as a band member of Whiskey Treaty Road Show will perform at the barn, ranging from psychedelic indie rock to acoustic singer/songwriter folk. Keane creates unique musical experiences, the Barn says, wide ranging and dynamic, blurring the line between pre-arranged and improvised.

Gaining notoriety as the co-founder of the berkshire based collaborative The Whiskey Treaty Roadshow, Billy Keane’s sound is a blending of neo folk/americana with indie rock and country. It is inspired by his life, listening and his belief that to be human means to experience the universe and our world, its people and to reflect all that back upon itself through artistic expression. He can be found performing his resounding anthemic songs either as a solo act with an acoustic guitar, or with his band the Waking Dream.

Keane’s debut album, Too Much to Let it Go, released in August 2022, has garnered over 200,000 streams, radio play across AAA radio nationally and critical acclaim across No Depression, The Boot and Americana Highways. The debut record from Keane also featured notable musicians such as, Lee Pardini (Dawes, Chris Stapleton) on organ, Ben Jaffe (Honey Honey, Kacey Musgraves) on lead guitar and Bruce Bouton (Garth Brooks) who were able to bring Billy’s Anthemic sound fully to life.

Billy Keane’s Touring history has had him sharing the stage with household names like James Taylor, The Gin Blossoms and Blues Traveler, headlining folk rock clubs such as Cambridge’s Club Passim, Saratoga Springs Caffe Lena, NYC’s Rockwood Music Hall and San Francisco’s Hotel Utah. In 2022 alone, Keane supported his debut record with 60 shows in various formats across the northeast, which included festival slots at The Philadelphia Folk Festival, The Fresh Grass Festival and a headline album release show at Mount Bousquet which sold over 450 tickets in Pittsfield, showing a groundswell of support.

The Egremeont Barn offers live music in a tavern atmosphere with a wood fire and comfortable chairs around the stage and a pub menu for dinner.
