Amherst South Church Taizé services return monthly this fall with live music, prayer, lyrical chants, time for quiet reflection, and candlelight. The church is offering these services on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.: October 14, November 11, and December 9. Rev. Dr. Susan Cartmell, pastor of South Church, leads these 30-minute services. For those interested, the evenings begin with a light supper (soup, salad and bread) at 5:30 prepared by church volunteers and offered on a goodwill donation basis.
