Cuppa' Joe with Paul and Finance Director Sean Mangano

Interested in learning more about what's happening with the budget in Amherst? Join us for our next Cuppa' Joe with Paul on Friday, November 14 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Futura Coffee Roasters (73 Cowls Rd). All community members are welcome to join this informal event to connect with Amherst Town Manager Paul Bockelman and new Finance Director Sean Mangano. The conversation will focus on the upcoming FY27 budget including revenue & expenditure projections, potential challenges, and capital projects. Sean recently returned to the Town of Amherst after previously serving as the Town’s Finance Director from 2020 to 2023. Prior to this, he held various roles with the Amherst-Pelham Regional School District, including their Director of Finance. These experiences give him a comprehensive understanding of both municipal and school budgets, as well as the complex relationship between educational and municipal financial needs. Sean is eager forward to return to Amherst and contribute his expertise as we approach the upcoming budget season. The “Cuppa’ Joe with Paul” events are monthly and rotate locations around the Town. Each time, Paul is joined by a different Town department head or official who provides insights into their area of focus.
