Dale Schwarz: Stay in the Day and Have the Long View

Dale Schwarz, a Registered Art Therapist and artist, works primarily from her studio at the Leverett Crafts and Arts Center in Leverett, Massachusetts. Her latest series, “Stay in the Day and Have the Long View,” features abstract landscapes that explore the power of perspective. Utilizing acrylics, collage, and mixed media, her often multi-layered pieces add hidden dimension to create a sense of depth.

In the artists own words: “Throughout my life, I have expressed both my inner and outer landscapes through visual expression. For me, making art is a form of meditation—a doorway into the unknown. It’s a continual source of learning, healing, at times frustration, along with joy, and wonder.”
