Deerfield Riverfest

**DEERFIELD RIVERFEST**

Join us on August 1st on the Deerfield River and at Berkshire East in Charlemont as we join together with friends to enjoy great music, vendors, food, and cheer from 5:30-10 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit American Whitewater's river stewardship work in the Northeast. Admission is $10.

The whitewater boating releases on the Deerfield River draws tens of thousands of paddlers and other visitors to Western Massachusetts each year, supporting the outdoor recreation economy in the region. This year marks a momentus milestone on the Deerfield as the A newly issued federal license guarantees whitewater releases on the Deerfield River for the next 40 years, a once-in-a-generation win for this river and everyone who loves it.

🎸 **Live Music @ Berkshire East** Saturday evening 5:30–10 PM. Stay tuned for more band info. 

🏆 **Games, Competitions & Activities** Lawn games, kayak competitions, skill challenges, and more throughout the base area. Whether you paddled all day or just showed up for the party, there's something to get into.

**🍔 Food & Drink** The Taqueria and Crazy Horse Bar and Grill at the Berkshire East base area will be open all weekend long along with an outdoor beer vendor vistitng Saturday night

🛍 **Paddlesports Vendors** Browse gear from leading paddlesport vendors on site. Check out the latest boats, paddles, and accessories — and support the brands that support the rivers.

🔇 **Silent Auction & Raffles** Score incredible deals on boats, paddles, camping gear, and more. One of the most popular traditions of the fest — all proceeds fund river conservation work.

🚣 **Zoar Outdoor Demos & Clinics** Demo kayaks at Zoar Outdoor's shop and apply rental fees toward purchase. Reserve a spot with their renowned paddling school for Saturday and Sunday clinics.
