Discussing DALL-E: The Impact of AI on Art

The Artificial Intelligence in the Liberal Arts initiative is partnering with the Mead to bring you Amherst College's FIRST AI-generated art exhibition. When given the prompt of an art piece's description, how close will an artificially-generated image be to the real thing? There will also be a Q&A discussion panel featuring professors from the Art and Computer Science departments. We'll answer questions like: 'Is DALL-E an artist?' and 'Could this affect the art industry?'. The event will be catered with food from Fresh Side and boba from LimeRed.
