A day of fun, adventure and exploration in downtown Westfield!

Downtown Westfield WinterWalk, a community art and cultural experience in the heart of the Downtown Westfield Cultural District, combines a traditional urban art walk with elements of European winter markets, a perfect paring with the remaining two weeks of the holiday shopping and gift giving season. Featuring local and regional artists, artisans, authors and musicians from around New England in pop up art galleries and book shops along Elm Street, this art and cultural experience returns some old-fashioned urban holiday magic and excitement to downtown Westfield through the arts! WinterWalk brings together creators and community in the heart of the city to experience high quality art and the opportunity to explore and support local, downtown small businesses.

It’s FREE to attend! It’s FUN to attend! You are cordially invited to explore downtown Westfield and do the Downtown Westfield WinterWalk.

Plan a leisurely stroll through the heart of the city to experience awesome art work and literature by local and regional artists and authors (hint, hint, hint … art & books make a wonderful holiday gifts!); live music and holiday carolers , hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies; Mr. & Mrs. Claus, holiday raffles roaming street performers, to name some of the many activities happening during WinterWalk, while exploring supporting our downtown shops and boutiques, fine eateries, coffee shops, bakeries, cafes and pubs, as you meander along the walkways of the city and explore all downtown Westfield has to offer.

A collaborative experience with many downtown Westfield small businesses and community organizations. this community experience is FREE to the community.

CHECK IN at the ArtWorks Westfield Information tent at the Elm Street entrance to the Elm Street Plaza for your Passport map to all the locations along the Downtown Westfield WinterWalk While enjoying FREE holiday cookies prepared by the Culinary Arts program students at the Westfield Technical Academy.

POP UP ART GALLERIES & BOOK NOOKS ALONG ELM!
Artists & Authors from Westfield, the Pioneer Valley, western MA and beyond will be showing their work in pop up galleries & book nooks inside shops and outside in display tents at the following locations!

OLVER TRANSIT PAVILION - artists & authors will be displaying their work inside the Olver Transit Pavilion, located on Arnold Street adjacent to the new Elm Street Plaza, as well as along the sidewalk outside the transit pavilion.
Pop up art show in a fully functioning public transportation center!

ELM STREET PLAZA - pop up tents along the east side of the Elm Street Plaza near the Community Christmas Tree

ELM ART & ANTIQUES - outside and inside! New shop in the Downtown Westfield Cultural District

GAZEBO AT PARK SQUARE - artists & authors will be displaying their work inside & outside!

RAY RAY'S CAFE - artists & authors inside and out. Great place for lunch too!

WESTFIELD GAS & ELECTRIC, TRIBECA GASTRO BAR & GRILL, TURINIAN JEWELERS (another new shop in downtown Westfield), TWO RIVERS BURRITO, FAST FEET and the old GEORGES JEWELERS location at 67 Elm Street.

WESTFIELD ON WEEKENDS, located at 105 Elm Street, almost immediately across from the pop up art show at the Olver Transit Pavilion will feature Santa and Mrs. Claus, crafts for the children, make your own cocoa, the Winter Wonderland art exhibition and MORE!
