Event Series: Exploring Mixed Media Class Series

6 sessions, Tuesdays, 1-3pm, May 14th-June 18

Cost: $180 plus supplies

 

This course will teach participants to use a variety of materials including collage, paint, and ink (to name a few) to create various subject matter with a focus on personal connection and emotion. Through lecture, demonstration, and studio work, students will learn the techniques needed to create works embracing one’s own unique artistic style in a mixed media application. All skill levels welcome.

Bridie Wolejko is an interdisciplinary artist specializing in mixed media art and painting. She teaches art and is the manager and curator of Gallery Marquee in Fitchburg.  

 

Her award-winning artwork has been exhibited both locally and internationally. She was the winner of the Fitchburg Art Museum 85th Regional Exhibition of Art and Craft and her subsequent solo show Hypnogogia featured large-scale collage and assemblage pieces.
