Fall Open Studios

Fall Open Studios at Hatch Street Studios opens the doors to one of the South Coast’s largest artist communities for a weekend of art, creativity, and exploration inside the historic mill buildings at 88 & 90 Hatch Street in New Bedford.

Visitors are invited to wander through both buildings, step inside working artist studios, meet the people behind the work, and get a firsthand look at the spaces where art is created every day. From painting, pottery, photography, and sculpture to jewelry, textiles, illustration, mixed media, and more, there is something new to discover around nearly every corner.

Our Hatch artists are at the heart of the weekend, with many offering original artwork for purchase directly from their studios. A thoughtfully selected group of guest artists, makers, and vendors will also join us throughout the buildings, adding even more to explore along the way.

Fall Open Studios is free and open to the public, with free on-site parking and elevator access. Spend an hour or spend the afternoon exploring at your own pace, talking with artists, discovering original work, and experiencing the creativity happening throughout 88 & 90 Hatch Street.
