Family scavenger hunt and snowshoe

Taylor Staubach of Berkshire Family Hikes and the Berkshire Natural Resources Counci will lead a family winter adventure at Arrowhead, a one-mile guided hike with an introduction to the historic site by the Berkshire County Historical Society. Together the group will tramp through storied woodlands and catch a glimpse of Mount Greylock’s snowy silhouette.

Snowshoes will be available (weather permitting),giving an opportunity to explore the grounds in true winter fashion. The walk will take an easy, gentle pace through fairly flat fields and woods. Please remember to bring appropriate clothing, Staubach says (warm, non-cotton layers) and water. The hike will be in English.
