SCDT's movement mission is based in experimental and healing somatic practices. This fall, SCDT shares a collection of incredible local teachers who introduce somatic forms such as: Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, and Body Mind Centering. Come if you want to transform how you experience and interact with your bodymind. These methods not only help with physical alignment and movement efficiency but also support emotional and mental well-being. Whether you're looking to heal, improve your posture, or simply explore new ways of moving, these approaches can provide valuable insights and tools. Enjoy the journey of exploration and self-discovery this Spring!

These are dance gatherings led by local and visiting professional dance artists. This is a time for us to experience what it means to be in a shared movement space again, in person, and be in community with one another. The structure of these classes is meant to be informal in nature, so dancers can get and give what they need. We are gathering for some nourishing movement and shared experience, with fantastic leaders to guide us.
