Led by one of The Clark’s expert educators, this Impressionism-focused experience will explore the revolutionary techniques and modern subjects of Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Berthe Morisot, and their peers. Discover how thick brushstrokes, vibrant color, and plein air painting forever changed the course of art history. Founded in 1950 by Sterling and Francine Clark, The Clark is renowned for its intimate galleries, stunning natural surroundings, and dual mission as both a public museum and a global center for art research and education. It’s the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the spirit of artistic innovation and visual delight. We’ll be carpooling from Arlene’s at 9:30 AM, dividing into cars before heading out.
