First Sunday Free: Twisting Trees

Date/Time

Location

Clark Museum, Williamstown MA (225 South St, Williamstown, MA 01267, Williamstown MA)

As the leaves finish falling, explore the beauty of branches and celebrate artist Laura Ellen Bacon's willow sculpture, Gathering My Thoughts, part of the outdoor sculpture exhibition Ground/work 2025. From 1–4 pm, enjoy hands-on activities inviting you to make artworks with natural materials. At 2 pm, immerse yourself in late fall in the Berkshires with a Clark educator-led woodland walk and close look at Bacon's twisting trees, or visit the sculpture on your own. Each month, make your own mini sculpture inspired by one of the six sculptures in the exhibition and add it to our growing Ground/work 2025-inspired mural.

Free.

Family programs are generously supported by Allen & Company. Details: clarkart.edu/events
