Four Roads to Freedom

Four Roads to Freedom is an evening when musicians  of different backgrounds unite for a night of songs and stories for justice. In sharing these distinct musical paths, we discover a powerful common thread: even in the most dire circumstances, people continue to find their voices and sing out against oppression. Featured performers include Adah Hetko, New Jewish Culture Fellow and MCC Creative Individual grant recipient; Gloria Matlock, vocalist/educator with 50+ years performing Black spiritual music; Keira Jewett and Ivan Belvis popular Irish musicians; and Nicolás Emden, Berklee-educated Chilean singer/songwriter and New England Music Award winner.
