Gamelan Music Workshop!

Come learn about and play/play with the many instruments used in Gamelan music like gongs, xylophones, flutes, and more! If there is enough interest more than one session will be offered! Gamelan Lebdo Budoyo (GLB) performs Central Javanese Gamelan music from Indonesia, featuring bronze gongs and a variety of percussion. Gamelan performances progress from serene and stately works to lively and joyful pieces. Founded in 2024, GLB is dedicated to the study of Central Javanese Gamelan music and plays on a gamelan set forged by master gongsmith Tentrem Sarwanto.
