GPL Zine Club Presents: Write Like Lynda Barry

Date/Time

Location

Greenfield Public Library (402 Main St, Greenfield, MA 01301, Greenfield MA)

Join librarian Francesca on Tuesday, September 2 at 6:00 pm, in the Conference Room for a zine workshop inspired by cartoonist Lynda Barry!

GPL’s Zine Club is an ongoing monthly meeting to learn new zine skills, share your work, and meet other zinesters. This month, we’ll create zines based on Lynda Barry’s work. Barry is a cartoonist and graphic novelist known for her unique style, which blends memoir, collage, and workbook.

What’s a zine again? A zine is a DIY, self-published, print work, often on a subject that falls outside of what’s traditionally seen in publishing.

This program is free, but space is limited and pre registration is required. Register at: bit.ly/gplzineclub.
