Immigrant Writing Workshop: Translation

With the generous support of the Amherst Cultural Council, Restless Books, in conjunction with the Jones Library, is offering one of its popular translation workshops, designed for emerging and established writers of all backgrounds who are immigrants or are focusing on translating immigration-related literary works. This two-session workshop is for participants ages 17+, and will be led by María Camila Vera Arias.

Workshop dates are Thursday, November 13, and Thursday, December 4. Attendance at both sessions is expected.

Register via Zoom.  Registration closes at noon on Wednesday, November 12.

Participant email addresses will be shared with the workshop leader and may be shared with other workshop participants.

All participants received a free digital copy of a Restless Books title written by an immigrant writer.
Exceptional pieces produced in the workshop are considered for publication in the Restless Books’ blog.
