Join us for a conversation with some of the artists creating new work for Like Magic - Simone Bailey, Grace Clark, Petra Szilagyi and Nate Young - and exhibition curator Alexandra Foradas, moderated by MASS MoCA Director Kristy Edmunds. MASS MoCA has always had a bit of wildness and magic about it: space for mess, for sprawl, for experimentation and questioning rather than certainty, for an embrace of the poetry in the cracks. Like Magic brings together a group of contemporary artists who speculatively employ technologies of magic - from witches' brooms and divination to healing rituals and prayers for the internet - as tools to question, to dismantle, to study, to believe. Major support for Like Magic is provided by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Additional support provided by Annie Selke.
