Indie Night is a monthly series highlighting emerging independent artists.

Mike Duffy and Lindsay Anne are both Berkshire County based singers and songwriters. Lindsay Anne has a beautiful, strong country voice, and her original tunes discuss relationships, betrayal, and deep soul searching through catchy choruses that have the listener singing along by the end. She currently has 8 songs recorded and available on all music platforms, and she is in the process of recording more.

Duffy's voice is straight out of 90's radio with a healthy combination of folk and rock. His original songs capture nature, inspiration, and managing tough times. Though he uses just an acoustic guitar, his looper pedal creates a full band sound with drum beats and solos. He is in the process of recording his songs and hopes to have an EP available on all music platforms by the end of 2024.

Lindsay and Duffy have known each other for a while, but they have only been playing together for the past few years. At different times, they were both associated with members of the former local rock cover band Blackwater (though they were never in the band together). One day, Lindsay joined Duffy onstage at a restaurant where Lindsay was a server and just beginning to play out as a solo artist; a deep bond formed. Until COVID shut down all venues, they played for a while in a band called Lindsay and the Four One Trio with Connor Ryan and Brendon Cowdrey who are both phenomenal musical talents. Now Lindsay and Duffy can be found all around local Berkshire venues as solo artists and occasionally as a duo. They still collaborate with Connor and Brendon on various projects and hope to all play together as a band again in the future. For now, Lindsay and Duffy enjoy each time they can come together as a duo and look forward to sharing their original music.
