La Liga follows immigrant farmworkers who face tough conditions while keeping Vermont’s dairy industry alive. Off the farm, they find joy, solidarity, and a sense of home on the soccer field.
The film has already made waves — premiering at the Made Here Festival, and taking home the Audience Choice Award and the Thaddeus Stevens Award for Social Engagement at the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival.
The film will have its National Premiere at DOC NYC in November.
