LAVA Film Night w/ local filmmakers: Julian Lowenthal & Improv Alliance

Julian Lowenthal is an award-winning film producer and director who has been in the movie industry for over a decade. He has been writing, directing, producing and editing music videos, sketches and short films since 2008. He has also worked on dozens of Hollywood and independent projects. He recently wrapped his latest and most ambitious independent film to date, *Money Game*.

Improv Alliance: It all began in January 2025, when a group of artists and entertainers got together, looking to collaborate on filmmaking projects. They started playing around videotaping improv games and Improv Alliance was formed. A core group (Shannon Chabot, Julian Lowenthal, Josh “Mag” Matusz, Vanessa Query) has organically developed, but they are always looking for new folks to join in the fun!

On Thursday, July 10, 6:30pm at The LAVA Center, Julian will showcase the range of projects he’s worked on and is working on, and Improv Alliance will perform a live improv sketch for you. Come to learn, come to be entertained, or come to find out if you’d like to join in on the shenanigans!
