Included in this show are plein air paintings as well as larger studio works created in oil and watercolor.
We live here because we love the seasonal landscape of the Pioneer Valley or we come to appreciate its presence over time. As John O’Donohue beautifully wrote, “Landscape is not just there. … It watched us arrive.”
This perspective fascinates me, and it resonates deeply with my own approach to creating art that captures the spirit of a place.
