Miles for Music

*On Sunday, September 13,* ***The Drake and The Iron Horse are teaming up to launch Miles for Music****: a new point to point* ***run, walk, and relay*** *from downtown Amherst to downtown Northampton, with live music along the Norwottuck Rail Trail and a finish-line celebration at* ***Taste of Northampton****.*

*Take on the full* ***8.1-mile course****, walk it at your own pace, or split the distance with a teammate through a team relay with a handoff at The Quarters. However you participate, you’ll be helping support two nonprofit venues working to keep live music moving in the Valley.*

*Miles for Music is a timed race with the spirit of a music festival. Participants will start near The Drake, travel the rail trail with live music along the route, and finish near The Iron Horse in downtown Northampton right as Taste of Northampton brings the city to life with 30+ restaurants, live music on two stages, and a full day of food, music, and community.*

*Every step helps keep live music moving in the Valley.*
