The Greenfield Public Library welcomes Alfred Mitchell and his photography exhibit “Moments”, which will be on display through November in the Library’s Conference Room.
An artist’s reception will be held on Monday, November 17, from 6:00 - 7:50 pm.
This series is of photographs that capture moments. Alfie is drawn to the beauty of unplanned interactions with their surroundings and spirits found in everyday life. Inspired by Alex Webb’s complexity, Vivian Maier’s quiet eye, and Gordon Parks’ deep sense of justice, Alfie photographs to connect — with people, places, and things. These images are their way of honoring the rhythms of the world we inhabit and the richness of ordinary lives, framed in a single instant.
