September's hosts:

Brie Green (Briezyjane) is a founding member of the sibling group “The Green Sisters”, who have been playing New England stages for over a decade. Raised on a farm in rural Hubbardston, MA, and the third (of four) sisters, Brie turned to writing as an emotional outlet, often finding inspiration in a treetop or while wandering through the woods and the mountains. The perfectly-conflicted storm beneath BriezyJane’s surface lends itself to heartfelt tunes inspired by love, loss, and life’s wonders (for which there are so many), covering a wide range of styles and sentiments.

Rob Griffin hails from the Pioneer Valley and has been rousing crowds in the music scene for longer than any of us want to remember (because a memory is better with him in it). Despite his inability to nail the punchline on any joke, he’s a keeper for his unmatched personality, his proficiency on the fiddle, guitar, and piano (and more!), and his incredible musicianship.

Brie and Rob can each be found playing in various New England groups: The Green Sisters, BriezyJane & the Hurricane, Lunar Carnival, The Slik Pickers, Livestock, Zuppa! and more.

Brie Green’s album “On the Path You Walk” features sassy, sappy, and soulful songs - with 14 tracks full of heart (and created with the help of so many wonderful friends), it’s worth a listen. Grab a CD to add to your ever-dwindling collection.
