Painting a Winter Fairy Tale on Silk

Date/Time

Not everyone loves winter; it's cold, the daylight is short, and it's difficult to get the positive emotions of light and color during the dark, winter solstice. But, if you look closely, there are many hidden gifts in winter! You can go bask in the snow by skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and sledding, even wallow in the billowing snowdrifts. Winter smells like tangerines, mulled wine, and pine trees! It is a time to reflect and dream about all that is possible. Journey with artist Lidia Mikhaylova on a bright, fluffy, winter fairy tale as you paint your dreams on silk. All materials will be provided. This class is for adult patrons. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the popularity of our art programs, the Millbury Public Library will approve patrons by lottery and require that you arrive five to ten minutes early for the class. If you are not on time, your registration will be cancelled. Late arrivals will not be accepted into the program, and that space will be filled with patrons from the waiting list. Once the program has begun, a sign will be posted on the doors to let patrons know that they cannot enter after this time, out of respect for the presenter. If you are unable to attend, please contact the library 24 hours in advance at 508-865-1181, so that we may contact a patron from the waiting list. Thank you.
