This dynamic one-hour panel brings together three local screenwriters who have successfully navigated the complex and often unpredictable journey from screenplay to screen: Nathan Graham Davis (Aftermath), Wally Marzano-Lesnevich (The Problem With People), and Alex Manugian (Coherence). These panelists, each of whom have written films that have found homes in theaters and on major streaming platforms, will reflect on the creative, emotional, and professional challenges they’ve faced along the way.

The discussion will dive into both the personal and industry-related milestones and challenges faced by each writer. They’ll share firsthand accounts of navigating the business side of screenwriting—working with agents and studios, negotiating contracts, and managing the financial realities of the job—while also opening up about the emotional toll and triumphs of seeing their work realized on screen. Whether you're an aspiring writer or simply curious about the filmmaking process, this panel will offer a candid and intimate glimpse behind the curtain.
