(Scribner, 2025), Smith's newest publication, features new and selected poetry in a celebration of her ever-evolving literary legacy. Joy Priest has desc ribed Patricia Smith as a poet who "writes so close to her characters, it's as if she steps into their bodies, thinks through their minds, sees through their eyes."
