Poets and poetry enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to join in an Earth Day celebration of the Hoosic River Watershed with Arianna Alexsandra Collins, Executive Director of the Hoosic River Watershed Association.

The group will meet at the Mohican Recreational Path – Syndicate Road Trailhead, walk the Hoosic bike trail in Williamstown and find poetic inspiration along the way. Writing prompts will be given in case you need or want them. And there will be time given to share your poems, phrases, or whatever the River drew out of you. This program will last about 1.5 hours.

This workshop is free and open to the public and is made possible by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Please register HERE. Limited to 16 participants.

Arianna Alexsandra Collins is a naturalist educator and poet with over 30 years teaching outdoor immersion experiences and community engagement. She has been facilitating quarterly Poetry Shares at her local library in Ashfield for the past several years.
