Queer Story Slam Presents: Awakenings

Join us for a night of queer awakenings! Queer Story Slam returns with its 4th event: “Awakenings” on Saturday, October 10th, at 7 PM at the Bombyx Center for Arts & Equity in Florence, MA.

Awakening (n.)

3. A coming into awareness

During times of upheaval and uncertainty, awakenings crash on the shore of our consciousness to save us. They demand that we choose action over readiness, making moves before certainty has arrived. Awakenings help us find footing after chaos and restore balance to our lives. We don’t have to be ready, we just have to begin.

Tickets are available on a sliding scale: $5, $10, $20 and up (pay what you can). No one will be turned away for lack of funds. All tickets are general admission, and proceeds support the Queer Story Slam and future events. We encourage you to purchase tickets in advance.
