Ragged Blue is a quartet of John Rough on banjo, Joe Blumenthal on bass, Corki Demers on fiddle & mandolin, and Terry Atkinson on guitar. The group has a combined history of many years worth of musical experience from different bands, brought to bear in a diverse and very entertaining repertoire. Ragged Blue’s music is an engaging combination of Bluegrass, Celtic, Old-time, originals, and reimaginings of popular songs. All three sing, cooking up some tantalizing harmony vocals. Their stock of instrumentals includes jigs, fiddle tunes, and waltzes; while vocals include ballads, pop songs, and a touch of raucous blues.

The Wendell Full Moon Coffeehouse is a non-profit, volunteer run, rural coffeehouse/performance space operated for the benefit of local environmental and service organizations. We support beneficiaries that are non-profit volunteer organizations whose work benefits the quality of life of this region. We present an open mic and featured performer(s) the Saturday nearest the full moon (when Possible) from Sept-May. The Wendell Full Moon coffeehouse offers an opportunity for intergenerational co-mingling, fun for a good cause, Desert-O-Rama, and an affordable community venue with a warm and appreciative audience.
