Public reading of Douglass’s speech "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July" by students from MLK Jr Family Services After School Program and Clemente Courses in Humanities alumni. Join us for educational information about Springfield's anti-slavery history as well hearing 4th and 5th graders reading the speech along with college alumni in both English and Spanish.
