Sanctum Gallery Grand Opening!

Sanctum Gallery will celebrate its grand opening during Pittsfield’s 10 x 10 Festival on Saturday, February 14, Valentine’s Day, at 148 North Street, Pittsfield, MA. The gallery will be open to the public from 1:00pm to 6:00pm marking the opening of a new community centered art and gathering space devoted to listening, creativity, and connection.

The inaugural art exhibit, When Listening Becomes the Lens by founder Tracy Squires emerged through extended solitude and deep intimacy with nature giving rise to liminal experiences where listening becomes a way of seeing and awareness blossoms into a shared presence. Offered on a day devoted to love, the exhibit invites a remembrance of the deeper connection that underlies and connects us all.

An invitation to gather in a circle at 4:00pm marks the beginning of an ongoing rhythm of community gatherings, rooted in listening, love and belonging.

The gallery serves as a community hub, hosting art exhibits alongside films, music, sound baths, classes, and creative offerings, with a commitment to supporting local artists.

All offerings at Sanctum Gallery are held on a donation basis.
