LOCAL PEACE CONCERT JOINS NATIONAL PRESENCE
Peace educator Sarah Pirtle will lead "Sing Out for Peace" on Saturday September 30th at 1:30 pm @ Water Street Lawn! Sarah has collected dozens of easy-to-learn songs about justice & peace. Water Street Barn offers this free concert for all ages joining close to 5000 varied actions in this country that are part of Campaign Nonviolence Action Days organized by Pace E Bene.
The purpose of the concert is aligned with the long-term vision of Campaign Nonviolence to build a culture of peace and active nonviolence, free from war, poverty, racism, and environmental destruction. People are invited to sing along or listen during the concert AND they'll be a sidewalk chalk art project in front of 31 Water St - for all ages - to add to this effort of peace at 1pm!
