Songwriting Camp

Have you ever had a hard time saying how you feel, so you turn on your favorite song and sing it at the top of your lungs until somehow, all of your feelings make perfect sense? Music gives us space to express oursevles in a way like no other. Songwriting is a tool we can come back to again and again when we need an outlet for our feelings, a space to freely say what we mean, and a canvas to explore life. When you learn the art of songwriting, you learn to find your voice. Together, we will write songs while learning: melody, finding great ideas for your songs, rhyming, song structure, rhythm and how to write our feelings, and more! No previous music experience needed. For youth under age 18.
