We are delighted to have the Mean Lids in town for this dance (and the next night in Peterborough NH).
Last seen locally at this year's Dance Flurry, the Mean Lids are Ben Smith on fiddle, Miriam Larson on flute and jaw-harp, and Matt Turino on guitar and fiddle. Appalachian grooves and Irish melodies mix with a modern, Midwestern sensibility in the music of this trio, featuring original, joyful dance tunes and wistful waltzes. We are so glad to host them for this dance!
Steve Zakon-Anderson will be teaching and calling for the evening.
