Stillness: Past and Recent artworks from Olwen Dowling

Olwen Dowling was born in Dublin, Ireland, & emigrated with her family to the United States. In Gallery One & Two this month, Dowling, a well-known name in the region, presents a group of botanical monotypes, drypoint, & intaglio etchings. As she explains, "This exhibition is very personal because I decided to return to a time of study that helped me get centered, that is biology and nature, what it brings to our daily lives ultimate healing." Stillness and quietude are the exhibition's quest.
