“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is a popular musical comedy based on Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip Peanuts, with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner.
It’s a series of vignettes and musical numbers that follow the lives of Charlie Brown, his dog Snoopy, and their friends Lucy, Linus, and Sally, exploring themes of friendship, hope, and the small joys and frustrations of everyday life. The show first debuted off-Broadway in 1967 and later had a successful Broadway revival in 1999.
