Joan Livingston, a Shelburne Falls author, will talk about her writing experience and read from her latest novel, *Northern Comfort,* on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2 p.m. at the Arms Library. Like most of her novels, this dark drama is set in the fictional hilltowns of Western Mass.
She will also give a sneak peek at *Missing the Deadline*, number seven in her *Isabel Long Mystery Series*, which will be released later this year by darkstroke books.
