Tanagers, Toucans and Trogons: the Birds of Columbia

Join Lancaster resident, photographer, and birding enthusiast David Ammerman as he showcases the Birds of Columbia. The Andes Mountains in Colombia host an amazing variety of very colorful, photogenic birds. In addition to the Tanagers, Toucans and Trogons we will be viewing photos of a large number of Hummingbirds, as well as some of the rare species that require very special efforts to view. David has been exploring the forests of the U.S and various places in the world for over a decade. The Cornell Lab of Ornithology's "eBird" has used over 100 of David's photographs to help train Merlin, their bird identification app. He has led bird trips for the Forbush Bird Club for the past several years.
