**Conway Festival of the Hills Returns October 5** *Celebrate Fall With a Skillet Toss, a Log Splitting Contest, and Local Food, Fun, and Festivities*

**Conway, MA** — The Conway Festival of the Hills, one of the Hilltowns’ oldest and most beloved fall traditions, will take place on **Sunday, October 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.**, rain or shine, at the town field in historic Conway Center.

Recognized as a Library of Congress “Local Legacy” in Western Massachusetts, the all-volunteer festival raises scholarship funds for Conway’s high school graduates. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of exhibits, activities, and demonstrations, including live music, a craft fair, blacksmithing, food vendors, local products, a raffle, parade, and the famed log splitting contest and skillet toss. Lots of activities for children will also be available. Admission, parking, and nearly all activities are free of charge.

In addition to the festival on Sunday, there is a full weekend of activities. Highlights include art exhibits, a library book sale, a bake sale, and the **Covered Bridge Classic 10K Road Race**, which begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday and features fun local prizes in multiple divisions. Race-day registration will be open from 8:45 to 9:40 a.m. at the Field Memorial Library.
