Hailing from Western Mass, The Mary Jane Jones is an original multi-genre band with an edgy retro vibe. The 8-member horn-heavy syndicate performs with a chemistry and swagger reserved for old friends and superheroes. Their natural talent, strong musicianship, and intricate songwriting make this one of the most exciting bands to see in the Northeast. The Jones has opened for national acts including NRBQ, Bella's Bartok, Fishbone, The Squirrel Nut Zippers, Haley Jane & the Primates, Seth Glier, Marcia Ball, and The Alexis P. Suter Band. Influenced by artists like Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Marvin Gaye, and Brittany Howard, this band honors the legacy of jazz, blues, rock, and soul with passion and respect.
